Steve Miller, Principal and Broker
Since 1989, Steve has been selling and leasing commercial properties in Connecticut and throughout the Northeast. He has represented national and local clients in all types of real estate transactions totaling more than 10 million square feet.
Before joining Levey Miller Maretz, Steve enjoyed a successful 15-year career as a clothing retailer. He was a partner at Jimmy’s Army and Navy Stores, a family business started in 1921 by his grandfather.
Steve is a member of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers and the New Haven Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Community Investment Corporation and is a past president of the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven.
Arin has been with Levey Miller Maretz since 2011 and leads our Connecticut property management team. Arin comes from a construction management background and has significant knowledge of buildings and maintenance needs. Prior Construction employment for a large building company is an integral part of Arin’s expertise and ability to trouble shoot and solve issues on any site. Maintenance and improvement is the key to the success of a property and Arin’s experience and knowledge are a key part to his success.
He has been managing properties since 2008, and specializes in sales and leasing of apartments, condominium management and commercial property management and believes the client always comes first. Arin’s portfolio of properties consists of numerous apartment buildings, commercial properties, multi-family units and a large condominium association.
Arin is a Certified Community Association Manager in the state of Connecticut (CMCA) and excels at property management, sales and leasing. He also is an active member at Bnai Torah in Trumbull, and “Mensch with a wrench.” Interests include golf, rock climbing and skiing. He and his wife Dayna have twin boys, Eli and Logan.
Shawn specializes in hospitality businesses and properties, as well as retail leasing and sales. He has worked at the company since 2000.
Earlier in his career, he owned five restaurants, which gives him unique insight when it comes to serving hospitality clients. He has represented businesses and shopping centers, offering market analysis, research and lease negotiation services, in addition to brokering sales and leases.
Shawn has received awards for the largest deal of the year from the Greater New Haven Commercial Investment Division and is an active representative of local businesses in the area.
Diane Urbano joined the team of commercial realtors at Levey Miller Maretz in 2006. She specializes in serving clients interested in buying or leasing office, retail, and medical and laboratory space in the New Haven County area. In addition, she has overseen the management of commercial construction projects with budgets up to $7.2 million, and is involved in property management of office/retail properties in Woodbridge and in the city of New Haven.
Prior to joining Levey Miller Maretz, Diane worked for the cities of New York and New Haven in public finance. She helped them obtaining financing for large-scale public projects including a library, a government center building, and the renovation of New Haven’s train station.
Diane is a member of the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge and of the Catholic Charities of New Haven. She has served on various public commissions, including nine years on The Woodbridge Economic Development Commission. She lives in Woodbridge with her husband Jim; they have three daughters.
Jeremy serves a wide range of clients and specializes in commercial real estate and property management. He is a licensed realtor and Certified Community Association Manager in the state of Connecticut (with CAMICB qualifications).
He manages a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. As a property manager, he is actively involved in preparing budgets and maintenance strategies, as well as attending board meetings and conducting site visits. He currently is managing condo renovation projects in excess of $1.5 million.
Jeremy serves on the Woodbridge Economic Development Commission, the board of the Greater New Haven Jewish Federation and the board of the Hopkins School Alumni Association. He also is an active member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Jack joined the company in 2014, but has specialized in sales, leasing and property management in Connecticut for more than a decade.
A Bridgeport native, he is a U.S. Navy veteran and served four years before being honorably discharged in 1982. He began his real estate career in 1987 at an investment firm, and later was a resident manager for a 250-unit apartment complex.
He has bought, renovated and sold foreclosure properties throughout Connecticut and has performed management duties for several privately held financial organizations.
Bernie has been with the company since 1991 and, as a commercial property owner himself, has a unique perspective that helps him serve retail, industrial and other commercial clients.
He has represented both sellers and buyers, as well as landlords and tenants, in commercial real estate transactions. He has sold hotels, retail centers, businesses, apartment buildings, and others.
In addition to his work here, the North Haven resident is chaplain of the Post 76 American Legion, a fundraiser for the Fisher House for Veterans, and a past member of North Haven’s Board of Finance and Board and its Zoning Board of Appeals.
Melanie has been with Levey Miller Maretz since 1986, and is a vital part of our team in her roles as office manager and bookkeeper.
In addition to her work at the company, which ensures things run smoothly here, the Derby resident is a long-time assistant coach and cheer coordinator for the Derby Pop Warner cheerleaders.
Marilyn joined the company in 1998 and is secretary and bookkeeper. She lives in Derby.
