Carlton Industries, which provides electronic contract manufacturing services, will move to 33 Rossotto Drive in Hamden to expand its operations in town, in a deal brokered by Levey Miller Maretz.
CIC Industries has bought the 26,000-square-foot building for $835,000 from 33 Rossotto Drive LLC.
The buyer plans to renovate the site and move Carlton Industries there from its current 18,000-square-foot home on Marne Street in Hamden, as early as the spring, according to Hamden town officials.
Noah Meyer of Levey Miller Maretz represented the buyer and the seller in the deal.
Carlton Industries has been providing manufacturing services various sectors – including aerospace, energy, medical and defense, among others – since 1994. The company employs more than 50 workers, with plans to hire 10 more in the next several years.
