At Levey Miller Maretz, we’re passionate about connecting people with the right commercial properties in Greater New Haven — and our latest transaction is a perfect example. We’re excited to share that we recently brokered the sale of the iconic Chowder Pot III restaurant property at 560 East Main Street in Branford, CT.
Our own Steve Miller and Andy Brauer represented both the buyer and seller in the deal, guiding the transaction from start to finish. The property, a 12,301-square-foot building situated on nearly three acres, has been a recognizable landmark along the shoreline for decades before closing in March 2024.
The buyer, 560 East Main Holding LLC, is owned by Sachem Capital Corporation, a Branford-based real estate investment company located right next door to the site. While the new owners have not yet announced their plans, the property’s General Industrial zoning opens the door to a variety of commercial possibilities — from industrial redevelopment to other high-visibility uses.
